But you're so far away
Doesn't anybody stay in one place anymore
It would be so fine to see your face at my door
Doesn't help to know you're so far away

Travelin' around sure gets me down and lonely
Nothin' else to do but close my mind
I sure hope the road don't come to own m

I got the union hall set up by the California diner, but if someone would like to put somethin' in there that would drive the RP a bit more, just let me know. Be glad to move out if someone's got somethin exciting to move in.

The Phoenix Hotel on Sherman and Wall Streets has just completed some renovations and now has SIX rooms available upstairs to meet the needs of travelers passing through Deadwood, or those seeking affordable long term residence.

#1 - A "free" room, available as a temporary space for newcomers who have not decided if they are passing through town, or "staying for a spell" -- the door does not lock (so you may discover you have several roommates!), and there is no prim allowance. This room is furnished with a single bed and dresser.

#2 - available for 15L per night, this room is furnished with a single bed, armoire, reading chair and cast iron fireplace for the traveler seeking privacy and comfort.

#3 - available for 100L per week (7 days), this room is furnished with a single bed, dresser, reading chair and cast iron fireplace, and comes with a 10 prim allowance.

#4  - available for 600L per month (31 days), this deluxe two room suite features a separate bedroom with double bed, and an armoire, dresser, dining table and two chairs, sofa and wood mantel fireplace -- and has a picturesque view of the river and town from three front windows. It comes with a 20 prim allowance.

#5 - available for 500L a month (31 days), this deluxe single room suite is furnished with a double bed, dresser, reading chair and fireplace, and has a lovely view of the river and town through two front windows. It comes with a 15 prim allowance.

#6 - available for 100L per week (7 days), this room is furnished with a single bed, dresser and reading chair, and comes with a 10 prim allowance.

If no employees are available to "check you in," guests may check themselves in directly by touching the room doors to check for availability. Payment for open rooms can be made by right clicking the door and selecting "pay" from the pie menu. If the room is available, you'll see a menu pop up with a blue payment button. The door will then open only for you for the duration of time specified above.

((RP)) meals are included in the cost of the room, and we offer ((RP)) daily maid service. There is a bath room with indoor plumbing, accessible through the sitting room downstairs. Guests have access to our dock out front with a canoe, or temporary moorage for their own watercraft.

Questions? Need assistance? Ring the bell on the front desk, and if myself or co-owner Ernst Osterham are online, we are happy to accommodate you.

We hope you enjoy your stay!

Regards,

36 Lee Street is now available. I have no pressing use for it.

I was thinking about using it for a warehouse till the reset but rescinded my reasoning and expense.

Now don't be competing with Gallagher's Row over there on Lee Street!! Ya hear!!!

Tsk!!! Tsk!!!
